Unauthenticated SQL injection via dataScope parameter
Published Jul 12, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in the affected Spring Security RBAC application before 2024.07.03 allows remote attackers to execute SQL via dataScope at /api/dept. The department API incorporates the attacker-controlled dataScope value into a database statement without neutralizing SQL syntax. NVD reports no authentication or user interaction gate; successful requests can read or modify database data or interrupt database-backed operations.
