Authenticated command execution via unsanitized configuration write
Published Jul 12, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Code injection in SeaCMS 12.9 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary system commands through the web administration interface. The action=set branch in admin_weixin.php embeds unfiltered message parameters in weixin.php, where injected PHP invokes system commands. An authenticated administrator can therefore turn a configuration update into code execution with the web server account's permissions.
