Broken object-level authorization in Themesbrand Chatvia 5.3.2 allows remote authenticated users to escalate privileges through profile updates. The profile name and image-upload requests accept a user identifier without verifying that the authenticated account owns the targeted profile. Exploitation requires a low-privileged session and user interaction, permitting unauthorized profile changes that can elevate access.
