Administrator takeover via unauthenticated path traversal

Path traversal in D-Link DAP-1650 firmware 1.04 and earlier allows local users to disclose the administrator password through hedwig.cgi. The hedwig.cgi component fails to confine a crafted path to intended resources and returns the stored administrator password. Access to the appliance is required; the disclosed credential grants full administrative control of the device.
