Traffic interruption via forged ICMP redirects

Improper source verification in Tenda AX12 Firmware 16.03.49.18_cn allows remote attackers on the same LAN to interrupt client traffic. The disclosed routing path accepts a forged ICMP Redirect claiming to come from the gateway, then changes a redirect-accepting client's route to the attacker's address. An attacker must share the LAN with the target client; the demonstrated consequence is loss of that client's connection to its original destination.
