Unauthenticated code execution via concatenated login query
Published Jul 22, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in Hospital Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through the public login form. The btn_login_b_Click handler in Loginpage.aspx.cs concatenates the submitted username and password directly into an SQL query without parameterization. No authentication or user interaction is required, and crafted credentials can alter the database query used to validate a login.
