Reflected XSS via unencoded search parameter
Published Aug 8, 2024 · Updated Aug 9, 2024
Reflected XSS in Projectworlds Old Age Home Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to run script in a victim's browser. The /oahms/search.php endpoint places the searchdata parameter into its HTML response without output encoding, so a crafted value becomes executable markup. No authentication is required to supply the payload, but a victim must open the crafted request; script execution remains within the application's browser origin.
