CVE-2024-40459Public exploit

Privilege escalation via modified login packets

Published May 22, 2025 · Updated May 23, 2025

Improper privilege management in Ocuco Innovation APPMANAGER.EXE 2.10.24.51 allows local users to gain administrative access. The login flow accepts an intercepted TCP packet after selected bytes are replaced with space bytes, then opens Application Manager without an authorization check. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access and control of the application traffic; successful access exposes administrative functions.
