Authenticated resource access via missing profile authorization
Published Nov 13, 2024 · Updated Nov 25, 2024
Authorization bypass in Cybele Software Thinfinity Workspace before 7.0.2.113 allows remote authenticated users to create privileged profiles. The Create Profile API accepts a profile-creation request without enforcing the requesting account's authorization for the requested privileges. Valid credentials are required, and successful exploitation grants unauthorized access to resources through the created profile.
