Authenticated arbitrary file upload via unchecked image download
Published May 2, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Plugins360 All-in-One Video Gallery 3.6.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to upload server files. The aiovg_create_attachment_from_external_image_url function creates a WordPress attachment from a featured-image URL without validating the downloaded file type. Contributor-level access is required; the dangerous file remains on the site and permits remote code execution when the server executes that file type.
