Unauthenticated root access via hardcoded Telnet credentials

Use of default credentials in Sitecom WLX-2006 firmware 1.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to gain root access through Telnet. The telnetd service on TCP port 23 accepts the hardcoded root/root credential pair, authenticating it as the device's administrative account. Network reachability to Telnet is the only reported gate; successful access permits command execution and disclosure or modification of configuration data.
