Unauthenticated code execution via unrestricted PHP upload
Published Jul 12, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Nikhil Bhalerao Poultry Farm Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code. The unauthenticated /farm/product.php endpoint accepts productimage with a .php filename and stores it in the web-accessible assets/img/productimages directory. No account or user interaction is required; requesting the uploaded script runs attacker-supplied PHP with the web server's privileges, enabling data access, modification, or service interruption.
