Incorrect authorization in affected GitLab CE/EE releases allows remote authenticated users to promote key results to objectives. The objective-promotion authorization path accepts the operation without verifying project membership; GitLab has not disclosed a file or function. A low-privileged account outside the target project is sufficient, and the bounded consequence is unauthorized modification of objective data.
