File metadata disclosure via path traversal
Published Oct 21, 2024 · Updated Jul 5, 2026
Directory traversal in the Boa webserver in Vilo Living Vilo Mesh Wi-Fi System 5.16.1.33 and earlier allows remote attackers to enumerate files. The HTTP request path is checked relative to /tmp without neutralizing traversal segments, so arbitrary-file existence and length affect the response. The unauthenticated TCP service on port 5432 can launch Boa on port 8023; LAN access is required, and file contents are not disclosed.
