Adjacent root code execution via HTTP buffer overflow

Buffer overflow in the Boa webserver in Vilo Wi-Fi 5 Firmware 5.16.1.33 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. The error-response function at address 0x4026d0 copies an invalid HTTP method or nonexistent path into a partly prefilled 8,192-byte stack buffer through an unbounded %s format operation. Any unauthenticated user on the Wi-Fi network can start Boa on port 8023 through the unauthenticated port 5432 service, overwrite the return address, and gain root access.
