Cross-site script execution via unescaped Facebook identifier
Published Jun 14, 2024 · Updated Mar 13, 2025
Stored XSS in Labschool Social Pixel 2.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through a Facebook identifier. The Facebook Identificador setting stores an unescaped quote-breaking payload that is emitted on site pages without safe output encoding. Administrator access is required, and a later site visit triggers script execution even when unfiltered_html is disabled, including on multisite installations.
