Stored XSS via unescaped Docs Slug
Published Jul 2, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Stored XSS in Spider Themes EazyDocs before 2.5.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through a crafted Docs Slug. The Docs General settings path stores the Docs Slug without adequate sanitization or output escaping, and Docs Builder later renders it into link markup. Administrator-level access is required, and execution requires another user to hover over the link icon; multisite remains exposed when unfiltered_html is disabled.
