Authenticated command execution via shell-interpolated upload path
Published Jul 4, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
OS command injection in Rejetto HFS before 0.52.10 on Linux and macOS allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The getDiskSpaceSync function in src/util-os.ts interpolates an upload-derived path into a df shell command passed to execSync. Upload permission is required, and successful exploitation runs arbitrary OS commands with the HFS process's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
