Out-of-bounds write in Ricoh MFP and printer firmware allows remote attackers to interrupt service or destroy user data via a crafted request. Ricoh and JPCERT/CC have not disclosed the affected firmware locus, request format, or missing bounds check. Network access is sufficient without authentication or user interaction; consequences are limited to service interruption and partial data destruction, not code execution.
