Unauthenticated code execution via User-Agent SQL injection
Published Jul 18, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
SQL injection in 1Panel before 1.10.12-lts allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted User-Agent header. The website-monitoring and WAF paths place the untrusted header into SQL statements without neutralization, allowing appended ATTACH DATABASE and INSERT statements to write a PHP file. Code execution requires the bundled OpenResty container and a PHP site; the monitoring path also requires Pro edition, monitoring enabled, and WAF disabled.
