Remote code execution via unvalidated SQL sort fields
Published Jul 18, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in 1Panel before 1.10.12-tls allows remote authenticated users to execute code and disclose data through crafted sort fields. Multiple API request structures pass unrestricted orderBy and order values into GORM queries; the patch replaces them with field-specific allowlists. Network access and a valid panel session are required, and successful exploitation can write server files, execute code, and disclose stored data.
