Unauthenticated credential disclosure via unrestricted web API guessing
Published Jul 9, 2024 · Updated Aug 27, 2025
Improper brute-force protection in Siemens SINEMA Remote Connect Server before 3.2 SP1 allows remote attackers to learn weak user credentials. The web API accepts repeated credential guesses without adequately restricting excessive authentication attempts. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful guessing discloses only credentials weak enough to be found by brute force.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
