Privilege escalation via updateAccessGroupLinks SQL injection
Published Sep 23, 2024 · Updated Sep 23, 2024
SQL injection in Centreon Infra Monitoring 24.04.2 allows remote authenticated users with high privileges to execute arbitrary SQL commands. The updateAccessGroupLinks function uses an insufficiently validated user-supplied string to construct SQL queries during mass changes to users. Access to the contacts form with high privileges is required, and successful exploitation grants access to resources otherwise restricted from the account.
