Authenticated command execution via disk_part injection
Published Jan 14, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Command injection in Wavlink AC3000 firmware M33A8.V5030.210505 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands via HTTP. The nas.cgi add_dir() handler inserts the disk_part POST value into mkdir and chmod shell commands without neutralizing subshell syntax. An authenticated management session is required, and successful exploitation runs arbitrary shell commands on the router.
