CVE-2024-39764Network attack vector

Authenticated command execution via unfiltered routing destination

Published Jan 14, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025

OS command injection in Wavlink AC3000 firmware M33A8.V5030.210505 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. The set_add_routing() handler appends the dest POST value to a shell command buffer without filtering and passes the result to popen(). A valid management-session cookie is required, after which injected shell metacharacters execute commands on the router.
