Remote service interruption via incorrect memory de-allocation
Published Jul 8, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Denial of service in IBM MQ Operator 2.0.24 and 3.2.2 allows remote attackers to exhaust memory in Developer Edition containers. IBM attributes retained memory consumption to incorrect memory de-allocation but does not identify the affected function, object, or request path. Exposure requires a Developer Edition queue manager container, and exhausting its available memory can interrupt that container's service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
