Authenticated command execution via image upload endpoint
Published Dec 18, 2024 · Updated Dec 18, 2024
Command injection in ThreatQuotient ThreatQ before 5.29.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands through its API. The user-image upload endpoint fails to neutralize command elements in crafted request input, producing blind execution without returning command output. A valid account and a crafted endpoint request are required, after which commands run on the ThreatQ server.
