Bulk recipe-template overwrite via missing AJAX nonce
Published Jul 17, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Gora Tech Cooked 1.7.15.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to overwrite recipe templates in bulk. The cooked_save_default_bulk AJAX handler accepts attacker-supplied recipe_ids and default_content values without validating a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires a logged-in user to submit the crafted cross-origin request; the handler then replaces content for the supplied recipe IDs.
