Object injection via comment metadata deserialization
Published Aug 1, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
PHP object injection in MotoPress Timetable and Event Schedule 2.4.13 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject objects. The plugin deserializes attacker-controlled comment metadata and instantiates PHP objects without restricting eligible classes. Administrator access is required, and file deletion, data disclosure, or code execution additionally requires a usable POP chain from another installed component.
