Code execution via unchecked DPA parameter length
Published Nov 11, 2024 · Updated Nov 11, 2024
Stack-based buffer overflow in Delta Electronics DIAScreen before 1.5.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a DPA file. The BACnetParameter parser copies user-supplied DPA data into a fixed-length stack buffer without first validating its length. Exploitation requires a user to open a malicious file or visit attacker-controlled content, and successful code runs in the current process context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
