Sensitive table disclosure via unchecked remote function
Published Jul 9, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Missing authorization in SAP Product Design Cost Estimate allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive table data via RFC. A remote-enabled PDCE function module omits a necessary authorization check and returns generic SAP table data to callers with insufficient privileges. An authenticated SAP account and network access to the RFC interface are required; exploitation discloses table contents without altering data or interrupting service.
