CVE-2024-39581Network attack vector

Unauthenticated arbitrary file access via undisclosed endpoint

Published Sep 10, 2024 · Updated Sep 10, 2024

File exposure in Dell PowerScale InsightIQ 5.0 through 5.1 allows remote attackers to read, modify, and delete arbitrary files. Dell has not disclosed the affected endpoint, path-handling logic, or the operation that exposes files to unauthenticated requests. Network access to the InsightIQ service is sufficient; exploitation can disclose data, alter files, and remove files without authentication.
