Root code execution via unsanitized SNMP configuration
Published Jul 9, 2024 · Updated Aug 27, 2025
Command injection in Siemens SINEMA Remote Connect Server before 3.2 HF1 allows remote authenticated users to execute code as root. The server loads SNMP configuration values without server-side input sanitation, allowing command syntax to reach an operating-system command context. The attack requires permission to modify the SNMP configuration and yields arbitrary root-level code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
