Adjacent kernel crash via persistent RSVP errors

Improper exception handling in Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows adjacent attackers to crash the kernel through RSVP. The rpd routing daemon leaks kernel memory whenever a downstream RSVP neighbor maintains an uncorrected persistent error, eventually exhausting memory. Only systems configured with RSVP are exposed, and a logically adjacent unauthenticated neighbor can force a full kernel crash and service interruption.
