Improper value handling in Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved on ACX 7000 Series allows remote attackers to cause a volumetric DoS. The Packet Forwarding Engine applies a configured DDoS bandwidth or burst value to every protocol sharing the same queue instead of only the selected protocol. An unauthenticated network attacker can exploit an unintentionally high control-plane allowance or overwhelm a protocol constrained by another protocol's low limit, interrupting service.
