Interface traffic interruption via malformed DHCP packets

Improper exception handling in Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved packet processing allows adjacent attackers to stop ingress traffic. On specified routers and line cards, malformed DHCP packets wedge ingress packet processing and drive affected interfaces down. Exploitation requires adjacent network access and DHCP snooping to be enabled; continued packet receipt sustains the traffic interruption.
