OS command injection in the Junos OS Evolved CLI allows local users with low privileges to escalate to root via crafted command options. The CLI fails to neutralize special elements in options supplied to certain commands, but Juniper has not identified the commands or parsing path. An authenticated user with low CLI privileges can obtain root shell access and fully control the device.
