CVE-2024-39520

Root privilege escalation via crafted CLI options

Published Jul 11, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

OS command injection in affected Junos OS Evolved releases allows local users to escalate from low privileges to root. The CLI mishandles crafted command options for specific commands, failing to neutralize special elements before OS command execution.
