Device hang via Layer 2 packet flood

Denial of service in Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows attackers to hang EVPN/VXLAN devices. The l2ald daemon mishandles a high volume of specific IPv4 or IPv6 Layer 2 packets, causing rpd to consume all CPU resources. The attacker requires adjacent-network access and an EVPN/VXLAN configuration, and the resulting hang interrupts routing services.
