Physical account access via persistent console session
Published Jul 10, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Improper physical access control in Junos OS Evolved allows physically proximate attackers to resume a logged-in console session. The console port control leaves the current user authenticated when the console cable is disconnected, allowing a later connection to continue that session. Physical access to a device with an active console login is required; the resumed user's privileges, which can be administrative, determine the resulting account access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
