CVE-2024-39400Network attack vector

Cross-admin script execution via undisclosed DOM handling

Published Aug 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 14, 2024

DOM-based XSS in Adobe Commerce 2.4.7-p1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in an administrator's browser. Adobe has not published the affected DOM locus or the client-side operation that incorporates attacker-controlled data into the page. An administrator must inject the payload and convince another administrator to follow a malicious link, exposing that victim's session data and page actions to the injected script.
