Application crash via malicious file processing
Published Aug 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 14, 2024
NULL pointer dereference in Adobe InDesign 19.4 and 18.5.2 and earlier allows attackers to crash the application via a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser or the erroneous pointer operation beyond a null dereference during malicious-file processing. Exploitation requires a victim to open the file, and the resulting denial of service is limited to the InDesign application.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
