Heap-based buffer overflow in Adobe InDesign 18.5.2 and 19.3 and earlier allows context-dependent attackers to execute code via a malicious file. Adobe identifies the flaw as a heap-based buffer overflow but has not disclosed the parser, file format, or unsafe memory operation that triggers the overwrite. A victim must open the crafted file, after which execution occurs with the current user's privileges and can affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
