Unauthenticated access to restricted transmitter functions
Published Jun 27, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Improper access control in TELSAT marKoni FM transmitter firmware before 2.0.1 allows remote attackers to access restricted functions. CISA and marKoni have not published the affected endpoint or the authorization check that fails to constrain access. No authentication or user interaction is required, and exposed Web or SNMP management permits sensitive-data access or unauthorized transmitter actions.
