CVE-2024-39374Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrator access via exposed hard-coded credentials

Published Jun 27, 2024 · Updated Aug 19, 2024

Hard-coded credentials in TELSAT marKoni FM transmitters before 2.0.1 allow remote attackers to gain hidden administrator access. The unauthenticated /js_files/LogIn_local.js script exposes fixed factory-account credentials through auto_login(), and the account is hidden from normal user management. Network access to the web panel is sufficient to modify transmitter settings, overwrite EEPROM data, clear the database, and alter factory logs.
