CVE-2024-39351Network attack vector

Administrator command execution via NTP configuration injection

Published Jun 28, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

OS command injection in Synology Camera Firmware before 1.0.7-0298 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. The NTP configuration path fails to neutralize special elements before using an input in an OS command, although Synology has not disclosed the affected field. Administrator privileges are required, and successful exploitation grants command execution on an affected BC500 or TC500 camera.
