CVE-2024-39344Network attack vector

Account takeover via exposed authentication metadata

Published Aug 21, 2024 · Updated Aug 26, 2024

Sensitive information exposure in DocuSign for Salesforce 8.142.14 allows remote authenticated users to take over Docusign accounts. The Apttus_DocuApi__DocusignAuthentication__mdt object exposes authentication keys through readable fields when installed for all users. Default all-user access lets a low-privileged Salesforce user combine the keys into an administrator service-account session that can reauthenticate as other users.
