Authenticated server-file reads via log download
Published Jul 20, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Arbitrary file download in Mercado Pago payments for WooCommerce 7.3.0 through 7.6.1 lets remote authenticated users read server files. The mercadopagoDownloadLog handler accepts a caller-controlled log pathname without preventing traversal outside the log directory in 7.3.0 through 7.5.1. Subscriber-level access reaches the endpoint through 7.6.1 because its permission check is missing; disclosure is limited to files readable by PHP.
