Cross-customer changes via unchecked record identifiers
Published Sep 26, 2024 · Updated Sep 26, 2024
Authorization bypass in affected Aimeos AI Controller Frontend releases allows remote attackers to alter other customers' subscriptions and reviews. The review deletion path filters only on supplied review IDs, while subscription cancellation fetches an item directly by its supplied ID; neither operation verifies customer ownership before changing the record. No privileges or user interaction are required, and a chosen identifier can delete another customer's review or mark another customer's subscription canceled.
