OS command injection in GL.iNet router firmware allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary shell commands through the OpenVPN API. The configuration upload flow passes a crafted archive filename from params to check_ovpn_client_config or check_config without neutralizing shell metacharacters. Exploitation requires an administrative token and permits commands to manipulate the router with the service's privileges.
